I was hired to create 35 full color illustrations for the graphic novel, Tri-Prime. The creator wanted each illustration to be hand inked and painted. It was quite a challenge for my first gig right out of college, but I was eager to take it on.
Tri-Prime follows a kid named Andy who grew up in Olde City (a fictionalized version of Philadelphia). Wanting to make a difference in a crumbling world, he joins the army and is soon recruited into a secret weapons division. Their main project is a weaponized suit that the operator can wear into combat. Andy shapes this into the perfect tool to take crime into his own hands...
